Not so much a suggestion, but a query....

With Silverlight no longer actively being developed by Microsoft, and mainstream browsers dropping support for it (Chrome, Edge) .... what's the plan for web based SkyDemon? and for Mac users for whom web based SkyDemon is the only 'official' version of SkyDemon?

Not a major problem at the moment - but increasingly an irritation as I can no longer quickly check web.skydemon.aero from work and I fear my Mac at home may become stuck with a ageing snap shot of Skydemon as was when someone kindly compiled an unofficial version.

(ps: as someone who has worked in app development I know how frustrating it is spending effort on adapting for multi-platform rather than adding new features! ... but no harm selfishly asking!)

The only alternative would be an HTML 5 version of SkyDemon, and I can't see us doing that.

When Silverlight does stop working entirely people will just have to use our three full versions of SkyDemon - for PC, iOS and Android. Lots of Mac users run SkyDemon Plan in a Parallels virtual machine or similar. It may also be that iOS apps will run on Mac OSx at some point.

Since I cannot actually predict the future, though, something else might happen.

fair enough - I agree HTML5 isn't likely to be a quick fix

I'd rather your time was spent on new features for the main tablet products than building a clunky version for web browsers!

an annual update to the 'unofficial' Mac version would be nice though  :-)
(I know parallels would work fine, but that's another £150 per machine in licences)
